| 地理标志是国际知识产权保护的主题之一，中国入世后也加大了对地理标志的保护力度。新疆作 为中国经济发展相对落后的省区，积极开展地理标志产品保护，开发具有区域特色的自然资源，对于发展 区域经济，推动经济快速发展具有特别重要的意义。该文以对新疆地理标志产品保护调查的资料和数据为 基础，概括总结新疆地理标志产品保护的历史与现状，分析目前新疆开展地理标志产品保护的特点及存在 的问题与不足，提出解决地理标志双重保护的对策。 |

| Geographical indication is one of the protection subjects of international intellectual property rights， Chi- na has also promoted protection level for geographical indication after enjoining into WTO. As one of Chinese prov- inces， Xingjiang with relative backward economy is very significant to carry out the protection for geographical indi- cation products actively and develop the natural resources with area features. Based on the investigation materials and data， this paper summed up the historical and present protection situations， and analyzed the existing charac- teristics and problems of Xinjiang geographical indication products. |
